Position Summary:

This is a part- or full-time seasonal position with CREA, LLC (CREA), lasting approximately 15 weeks during the late winter and early spring. The candidate will assist in performing the following duties for the Fund Management Department:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gather data and statistics to provide financial analysis of partnerships and Funds
  • Prepare portions of quarterly investor reports
  • Update tax credit asset management software with overview data and key information on Funds and Investors
  • Review financial statement audits and tax returns for conformity to projections
  • Aid in managing workflow of the department and tracking tasks and progress
  • Other project-related activities as driven by CREA’s business needs

Effective associates will gain experience in understanding operating projections within the real estate environment, reviewing audited financial statements and tax returns, and managing departmental processes and workflow. The associate will also be introduced to the fundamentals of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) industry and advanced partnership taxation concepts.


Requires Junior or Senior standing towards a bachelor’s undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess and be able to demonstrate effectiveness with each of the following Key Attributes. Will become familiar with other databases and other research resources during their tenure of employment.
