In a recent op-ed written and submitted to The Hill by Emily Cadik of The Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition, Cadik expresses the need for Congress to act within 2019 and the bipartisan momentum of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA). She writes, “So perhaps it is no wonder that amid the political chaos, there is growing momentum behind a policy that will benefit hundreds of thousands of working families, veterans, and seniors…It is time for the House and Senate to get this important legislation for affordable housing over the finish line.”
