CREA, LLC and MG Housing Strategies, a boutique advocacy firm, have announced a strategic partnership intended to mutually benefit the affordable housing industry and partners of CREA. Through a bi-partisan targeted approach, this partnership will provide guidance and information for individuals and affiliated organizations seeking to navigate the complicated environment of Washington DC and Capitol Hill. Together, they will also work to expand resources for the rehabilitation and production of much needed affordable housing.
“We are excited to continue our advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. with MG Housing Strategies,” said Jeffrey Whiting, CREA, LLC Chairman and CEO. “This alliance will allow our investor and development partners to access relevant information and policy initiatives in real time.”
MG Housing Strategies will work to address specific needs and advocate for relevant regulatory changes, as well as expand resources through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and housing programs at the Departments of Housing and Urban Development and Agriculture.
“Strategic partnerships and coalitions have been the key to success for the affordable housing industry,” stated David Gasson, Co-Founder and Principal at MG Housing Strategies. “Partnering with Jeff and the amazing team at CREA is another step toward attaining the resources to address the housing crisis.”
