CREA Makes a Move

After approximately two months of construction, City Real Estate Advisors signed a 12 year contract with Kite Realty Group to make the fourth floor of the 30 South Meridian building the new home for their headquarters. In need of additional space and room to grow, CREA left the sixth floor.

“We unfortunately ran out of space on the sixth floor,” said Brian McDonnell, Chief Operating Officer. “The new space on the fourth floor provides room for 60 employees.  We have about 40 employees right now so the extra space gives us room to grow.”

With CREA’s growth, and hopes to keep doing so, the need for additional space became evident. The move to the fourth floor has not only provided extra space, but also better space for communication and interaction within the team. Included in the newly remodeled and designed space, are break out areas, an eat-in kitchen and audio enhanced conference rooms.

“The flow and location of teams is well suited for the space,” said McDonnell. “The design has also provided central meeting areas to gather and discuss things on a more informal basis. It also provides for chance encounters and encourages discussion.”

Not only have employees responded well to the new office, but clients and investors as well.

“The reaction has been extremely positive,” said McDonnell. “People like the modern colors, the bright offices and open feel.  They also like the break out area and kitchen.  It has been great to see everyone gathering in these areas.”

CREA thanks REI Real Estate Service, LLC, RJE Business Interiors and Lynn Hynes Design Associates for all of their work and contributions made toward the new office.
