CREA recently celebrated the grand opening of Park at Wellington I and II alongside developer partner, Housing Trust Group (HTG). Park at Wellington is a new construction apartment complex in Holiday, Florida, convenient to grocery stores, health care services, public parks and a city bus system. The featured amenity package includes a clubhouse, fitness center, swimming pool, internet café, lounge, covered veranda, and sand volleyball court.
“We are proud to welcome residents to Park at Wellington, which will alleviate the burden many working families face when it comes to affordable living in Florida,” said Matthew Rieger, HTG president and CEO. “Pasco County is just one of the many areas impacted by rising rental costs, and our development provides modern, affordable housing in a safe, friendly neighborhood environment.”
CREA’s Mike Boyle, SVP – Acquisitions, said of the complex, “When looking at the successful finished product of Park at Wellington, it’s easy to forget this project endured an election, tax reform, rising construction costs and hurricanes. Despite all those obstacles, HTG was able to produce a stunning product, delivered on-budget and on-time. At CREA, we are fortunate to work with many great developer partners and consider HTG among the very best. The community will benefit from their experience and expertise for years to come.”
In addition to Park at Wellington, CREA has also partnered with HTG on senior community, Hammock Ridge II in Spring Hill, FL, which is set to close this month with 92 affordable housing units.
