Many Texas homeowners experienced devastation in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, apartment building owners being no exception. One of CREA’s properties, Fifty Oaks in Rockport, Texas – a 50-unit low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) property – suffered damage to most of the complex’s roofs, causing water damage that forced residents to seek alternative shelter.
Fifty Oaks property developers, Step Forward Communities and Triton Community Development, were on the grounds last week to address the damage and bring relief to displaced residents. Items donated included nonperishable foods, water, clothes and basic necessities.
CREA, LLC personally thanks Step Forward Communities and Triton Community Development for their efforts and commitment to the residents of Fifty Oaks.
